Our Assessment: Since 1991, Les Baer Custom has been producing some of the finest 1911s that money can buy. With factory features like extended thumb-safety, extended beavertail grip safety, target sights, skeletonized hammer, and front slide serrations, this handgun is equipped with everything one could want from one of the best custom 1911s available. With their high performance 1911s, it is no surprise then that they may be used for custom builds. This one has a Dawson Ice magwell for quick reloads, a nice pair of aftermarket grips, and a full length guide rod that appears aftermarket, but the rest appears to be factory. It doesn’t stop there, because those are just the parts currently installed, there is a host of accessories including a scoped slide unit! This is a nice 1911 someone did a bit of personalization to and the modifications are very easy to un-do if you like. Chambered for the classic .45 ACP cartridge and with the 5? Government length barrel, this pistol will make a fantastic shooter, carry, or even competition firearm, just add mags and ammo! Please see our photos and good luck!
