Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45”, the bottom “STOEGER – ACCOKEEK, MD – A. UBERTI – ITALY”. The front face of the frame is marked with a Uberti logo and “8276”, the bottom is marked with “CT” in box date code and the serial number, the left is marked “PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871 / PAT. JULY. 2. 1872”. The outside of the cylinder is marked “2933” and with Italian proofs.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a square notch at the rear of the topstrap. There is no front sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece smooth gloss black. The grip has a few scattered light nicks and scuffs. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip is in about Very Good-Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light nicks and scratches, most notable on the bottom of the grip frame in front of the trigger guard. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup has very light side to side movement with barely perceptible end-shake. The trigger is light and crisp. The frame is a “smokeless”-style with a sprung cross-button retaining the cylinder pin, but the cylinder bushing is removable. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a cardboard Uberti box with serial-matching label and cable lock. The box has tears on the lid next to the middle tab and there is scattered minor storage wear. The label has faded with age. Overall, the box is in about Good condition.
Our Assessment: Produced in limited numbers by Uberti, this is a clone of the revolver used by Sylvester Stallone in The Expendables franchise of ensemble action movies. With a short 3 1/2″ barrel, ported for recoil reduction and a raised hammer spur with roller for fanning, this revolver is a fast-handling, fast-firing re-boot of an old favorite, much like Stallone’s role in the franchise. The revolver is in Fine condition showing some light handling and storage wear, and comes with its original box. This will make a great addition to any collection, but especially fans of The Expendables franchise and unique revolvers. Please see our photos and good luck!
