Our Assessment: This M1 Garand is gorgeous. It sits in a custom bedded & weighted laminate stock and will surely turn heads at the range. It has been customized & “Match Conditioned” by Don McCoy. Don McCoy was a Navy Armorer who worked on converting M1 Garands to .308 Winchester for the Navy. He later provided services to convert Garands to .308 and “Match Condition” .308 & .30-06 Garand Rifles. He supplied some converted rifles through the Civilian Marksmanship Program. This M1 Garand is in Fine condition and should make its new owner smile every time they take it out to the range. Good luck.
