Our Assessment: This is a custom flintlock rifle made by Jerry Kirklin, a fantastic contemporary flinlock rifle maker. The beautiful lines of this rifle, its swamped barrel, patchbox, and sweeping buttstock make a great example of the quality of his work. Weighing in right at 8 pounds, the rifle still feels light and handy and with a sight radius of more than 32″ it should prove to be quite accurate. This is a wonderufl example of a contemporary flintlock and would take a prized place in any household in America. Please see our photos and good luck!
