Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrel has operational wear mainly at the front. There are one or two tiny nicks to the slide, most noticeable on the right side of the slide above the word “Parabellum” and it may even be a factory machining imperfection. There is light handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol features an ambidextrous thumb safety, mounted on the slide, which doubles as a decocker. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes in a blue plastic Beretta case with a serial matching cardboard case cover, brass bristle brush, nylon bristle brush, and a 15-round magazine. The magazine has operational wear in the form of smooth spots on contact points and some light rubs and scuffs. The feedlips are intact and the mag rates in Fine Plus-Excellent condition. Please note, no magazine will be included for purchasers where the magazines cannot be legally transferred.

Our Assessment: The Beretta battle-tested and proven M9 has served the United States military for decades due to its reliability and ease of maintenance. The model 92FS is essentially the same as an M9, but with a civilian model designation and minor differences. Thanks to its accuracy, durability and versatility, it also makes a superb choice for personal or home-defense as well as concealed carry. This example has a stainless steel barrel and slide with an alloy frame, making it very resistant to corrosion. The pistol is in about Excellent condition with 98% of its finish remaining and comes in a Beretta case with two 15-round magazines where they can be transferred. This is an Italian production model and a little nicer than the ones produced today. As many of the dedicated Beretta collectors already know, unlike current production models that have the black safety, hammer, trigger, trigger bar, takedown lever, takedown pin, magazine release, and guide rod this one features all those parts in stainless or silver-tone alloy, a much more attractive look in our opinion. This one comes in Excellent condition, has hardly a mark on it and comes with a case, serial matching case cover, brushes, and even has its paper inserts. The values of these beautiful Italian Inox 92s have gone way up, so in its condition and with its accessories, we expect this to go to a serious Beretta collector. Please see our photos and good luck!
