Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “ELITE IA / 96 BRIGADIER -G- CAL. 40 S.&W.”. The right side of the frame is marked with Berettas two-line warning reminding you to read the manual. The left side of the slide is marked “ELITE IA / BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. ACKK., MADE IN USA” followed by the PB logo. The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number. The bottom of the slide is marked “4” on the right side at the front. The top of the barrel is marked “ 40 S&W STAINLESS”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a post style blade with a recessed white dot and is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a Wilson Combat “U” notch sight and is dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered grey and black G-10 two-piece panels with smooth borders produced by Wilson Combat and have their medallions in the centers. There are no major defects, just light handling wear. The grip rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some faint rubs from standard use. The right side of the front sight is bright and has some spots of discoloration from previous oxidation. There is some finish loss on the edges of the hammer, decocker, and slide release. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are clear and strong. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This is the G designated model slide, the lever on the slide is NOT a safety, it functions as a decocker ONLY. The double-action is smooth and the single action is crisp with a very nice reset, this is a really nice trigger. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with five 11-round matte black magazines with plastic baseplates. The magazines display thinning on contact points from use, scattered rubs and draglines but have intact feed lips. The mags rate in Fine condition. Please note, no magazines will be included if prohibited by your local laws.

When it comes to dependability even in some of the world’s most extreme conditions, the Beretta 92 and 96 still have no match. This is the 96 Brigadier G Elite IA slide on a 92FS Vertec Inox frame, it has front and rear slide serrations, skeletonized trigger & hammer, vertec grip profile, removable sights, and a reinforced slide. This pistol has an attractive finish with hardly a defect and is in Excellent condition. It should make the next owner extremely happy and provide a lifetimes worth of use!
