Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “COMMANDER / *MODEL*”, “COLT”, “AUTOMATIC / CALIBER .45” and with a rampant colt. The right of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” and with the serial number. The left of the trigger guard is marked “VP” in triangle and “U”. The top of the barrel is marked “-COLT 45 AUTO N.M.-“. The magazine floorplates are marked with a rampant colt, “COLT / 45 AUTO” and “C”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a brass bead dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a Novak square notch dovetailed and screw-set to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece Altamont green laminate with “fingerprint” checker pattern surrounding Colt logos. The frontstrap and mainspring housing have 25 lpi checkering with under-cut trigger guard. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. The pistol has only minor operational wear and light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol has a tight slide and a crisp trigger. This pistol was made without a firing pin block safety (like series ’70). We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a blue plastic Colt box with serial matching label, manual, cable lock, and a total of two 7-round blued Colt magazines. The magazines show faint operational wear with intact feed lips and strong springs, in about Fine-plus condition. The case shows only minor storage wear, in Fine-Excellent condition.
