Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a Les Baer branded Bo-Mar style square notch adjustable for windage and elevation dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece skip-line checkered wood with raised diamonds formed by the skipped lines of checkering. The raised diamonds have a wood grain finish while the checkered areas have been finished black. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. Overall, the grips are in about Fine-Excellent condition as possibly not original to the gun.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some minor operational wear and the slide has a slight plum hue in its polished flats. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide has almost no play to the frame but move smoothly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a brown cardboard box with serial-matching label, Les Baer Custom certificate signed by their gunsmiths, and a single 8-round magazine. The box has scattered storage wear, a tear in the top of the lid at the left and minor tape damage, in about Good-Very Good condition. The magazine shows faint operational wear with intact feed lips and a strong spring, in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: Since 1991, Les Baer has been one of the best custom and semi-custom 1911 makers in the world. With famously tight and accurate builds, they continue to hold their place today as a premier gunmaker. This pistol, a Premier II, is a great example of why. With its crisp trigger, tight slide-frame fit, and premium features such as front and rear slide serrations, adjustable target sights, skeletonized hammer and trigger, frontstrap checkering, extended ambidextrous safety and extended beavertail grip safety, this is going to make a great 1911 for target shooting or for carry. It is set off by a nice pair of skip-line checkered grips with raised diamonds which give the shooter good purchase on the gun while remaining pleasing to the eye and without being overly aggressive on the skin of your hands.
