Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / OB HP 12 Ga. 76 mm for 2 3/4″,3″ – 30″ – 18.6″, the right is marked with Beretta’s two-line warning address. The left of the receiver is marked “A400- Xcel -12 GA / MULTITARGET / MADE IN ITALY – PATENTED”, the right is marked with a Beretta logo, “Xcel / MULTITARGET” and at the bottom-front edge with the serial number and “IT16”, the bottom-front is marked with Italian proofs and “CP” in box date code. The right of the bolt is marked “-BLINK-“, with the serial number and an Italian proof.
Barrel Length: 30” With B-Fast adjustable Vent-Rib
Choke: The barrel is threaded for Optima Bore HP chokes. Installed is an extended Improved Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: There is a white bead in a base at the front of the B-Fast adjustable rib and a smaller silver-colored mid-bead. The top of the rib is finely checkered and the top of the receiver is serrated for glare reduction.
Weight: 7 lb., 14.9 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two piece checkered Grade 2.5 walnut set with pistol grip, adjustable comb and Beretta Kick-Off recoil pad system. There is a scratch on the bottom-right of the forend just in front of the checkering and a few other scattered minor marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The cast is about neutral. The LOP measures 14 1/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has no notable wear or damage. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine-plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, there is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

This A400 Xcel Multitarget is in Excellent condition, showing little sign of use with some light marks in the stocks but only light handling marks in the metal.
