Our Assessment: The model 4566 is a 3rd generation Smith with the barrel length and chambering of the Commander, but with stainless construction, single and double action design and some other updates in line with the 3rd generation line of handguns. The TSW takes this a step further with an accessory rail on the dust cover for mounting a light/laser. This example is in Excellent condition with some very light wear, a great bore and strong mechanics. If you’re looking for a single-stack .45 and you are used to the SA/DA action, this would be a great option. They don’t make ’em like this anymore. That said, these pistols are starting to become collectible and the high condition of this example is going to catch the eye of Smith collectors. Please see our photos and good luck!
