Our Assessment: This is a Nice Springfield Armory M1A that was built with a surplus TRW M14 barrel. It looks great and has a strong bright bore. It comes in its original shipping box with two 20 round magazines and cleaning gear. The front sight / flash suppressor assembly has been removed as it is illegal on the rifle in California. If you live in a free state you can mount it. If you live in the Peoples Republic of California you will have to purchase a front sight / muzzle break assembly.
