There is a thin crack in the right of the wrist at the receiver toward the top. The checkering is well defined, nearly sharp. There are no chips. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition and would likely be Excellent but for the crack in the wrist.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The lockup is very tight. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: Browning is not the only company to have found that Japan has some high quality firearms manufacturers. In the late ’60s and ’70s, Ithaca also contracted to have side-by-side shotguns made for them, choosing SKB rather than Miroku. The result is a fine-quality double gun with graceful lines, a nice balance and of course, strong mechanics. The Ithaca SKB model 200 is prized by hunters, sportsmen and even competitors in Cowboy Action Shooting for its craftsmanship and durability. This one is in Fine condition and shows light wear in the stocks but little in the metal. It is one of the later guns with acid-etched scroll engraving on its German silver-finished receiver, and it is a real looker that ought to shoot well, too. Please see our photos and good luck!

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
