Our Assessment: This is a Browning Hi-Power that was made by FN in Belgium in 1982. It has a high polished blue finish, adjustable sights, and checkered wooden grips. This pistol is in about Excellent condition with 99% of its original metal finish remaining. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion and the slide is tight to the frame. The Browning High Power is one of the most reliable pistols made. It has been used by more armies throughout the world than just about any other, including Britain’s Special Air Service. It has an all-steel slide and frame, unlike some of the more modern high capacity semi-autos, and the pistol can stand up to tens of thousands of rounds through it without problems of any kind: try that with an alloy framed Beretta or Sig-Sauer. This pistol is the perfect size for concealed carry: not too heavy and a grip frame that is very ergonomic. Besides being used for concealed carry, it can also be used for home defense. However, this pistol was made in the last decade of the “Belgian Brownings” and the fit and finish will probably never be duplicated on the pistols being made and assembled outside of Belgium. With 99% of its metal finish remaining, we think the Browning collectors are going to want to add this to their collection.

This does not apply to out of state buyers. The high capacity magazine will not be provided to a resident of California nor to a resident of any state with magazine capacity restrictions.
