Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its original metal finish. There are minimal handling marks and no visible thinning. The screw heads are sharp and unmarred. The pins are clean. The markings are crisp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This is a limited edition Remington 1911 R1 Bicentennial pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel, produced in 2016 to commemorate Remington’s 200th anniversary. This particular example is one of only 2,016 manufactured, making it a highly collectible modern tribute to both Remington’s legacy and the iconic M1911 design. The pistol features a high-polish blue finish, adorned with intricate scroll engraving on the slide and frame, and is fitted with smooth rosewood grips inlaid with a Remington Bicentennial medallion. The slide bears the “1816–2016” commemorative marking along with the classic Remington logo. This pistol ships in its original box with the manual and accessories, appearing to have seen little to no use.
