Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “S.A. CAL 45” The bottom of the frame is marked “79188” The barrel, frame, cylinder, hammer and trigger guard are highly engraved with gold inlays.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade. The rear sight is a notch milled into the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This revolver features 2 genuine ivory grips. There are light scratches present in the grips. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Stainless
Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The engraving is crisp and sharp. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. There are some light scratches on the barrel and frame. This revolver rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action does NOT function correctly. The cylinder turns freely in both directions. The shell ejector rod is missing. The hammer is loose and has no tension. The trigger is missing. The side loading gate also has no tension and is also loose. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
