Sights / Optics: The front sights are fixed blade sights. The rifles’ are fixed to the top of their Cutts Compensators while the pistol’s is fixed to a band at the muzzle.
TP069: 1927-A1 – The rear sight is a flip up aperture ladder sight.
TP068: 1927-A3 Carbine – The rear sight is an adjustable aperture sight.
TP070: 1927-A5 Pistol – The rear sight is a flip up aperture ladder sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition:
TP069: 1927-A1 – The stock are three piece walnut with M1A1 style buttstock with steel buttplate with trap door for storage compartment, through bolt, pistol grip with finger grooves, and foregrip with finger grooves. The LOP measures 16 3/4″ from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. There is a sling ring in the belly of the buttstock. The stocks rate in about Fine condition with only some light handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. There are some more notable nicks and scratches on the bottom of the grip and at the toe.
TP068: 1927-A3 Carbine – The stock are three piece walnut with M1A1 style buttstock with checkered synthetic buttplate, through bolt, pistol grip with finger grooves, and foregrip with finger grooves. The LOP measures 16 5/8″ from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. There is a sling stud in the belly of the buttstock. The stocks rate in about Fine condition with only some light handling wear. There are no chips or cracks.
TP070: 1927-A5 – This Thompson pistol has no buttstock. The pistol grip and handguard are wood with finger grooves. The bottom of the handguard has a sling ring. There are no chips or cracks. There are some light handling marks. Overall, the stocks rate in Excellent condition. There is a small nick on the left side of the forend’s bottom finger groove.

Bore Condition: All three bores are bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion the bores each rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: All three firearms display some light operational wear and 95%-97% of their original finish. There is thinning on some of the leading edges and some minor scratches here and there. The 1927-A3 has some more notable drag lines on its aluminum receiver. Each rate at Fine to Excellent condition. They appear to have been collected and stored rather than taken to the range.
