Our Assessment: The Luger P08 is one of the most iconic pistols in military history, instantly recognizable for its toggle-lock action and unique profile. This example was manufactured by DWM in 1910, making it an early production model from before World War I. With its distinctive design and excellent engineering, the Luger was used by German forces and became a highly sought-after firearm among collectors.
This pistol retains much of its original finish and features all the hallmark markings of an early-production Luger. The blued finish remains strong, and the checkered walnut grips still provide a solid hold. The bore remains in outstanding condition, making this not only a valuable collectible but also a mechanically sound example for those who appreciate historical firearms.
For collectors of military sidearms, pre-WWI Lugers are particularly desirable, and this 1910 DWM example is a fine addition to any collection. It is C&R eligible, making it accessible to a wide range of collectors. Please see our high-quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
