Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / MONSON MASS. U.S.A. / 32M B001014”. The right side of the barrel lug is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / .32 MAG. CTG.”.
Barrel Length: Interchangeable 8” Shrouded with Full Length Vented Top Rib and Full Length Ejector Shroud
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge style blade pinned to the top rib. The rear sight is a flat top square notched leaf pinned to the frame adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is oversized checkered wood with Dan Wesson medallions. A speed loader indent is present on the left side. The grip has a few scattered light compressions and light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grip is in about Fine overall condition.
Type of Finish: The receiver, cylinder, barrel shroud, and hammer are blue. The barrel and trigger are Stainless. The top of the frame and top rib are matte finished.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a light turn-line that is not through the finish. There are a couple light scratches on the sides of the frame. The screw head is undamaged. The hammer checkering is sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly both double and single action with faint play in the cylinder lockup. We did not fire this revolver. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
