Our Assessment: Dan Wesson is the great grandson and namesake of the founder of Smith & Wesson. Dan the younger formed Dan Wesson Arms and became famous with his high quality revolvers and their interchangeable barrels. This is one beefy hand cannon. This revolver is equipped with an 9.5” interchangeable shrouded barrel. Additional barrels in 4”, 6” or 10” may be available on the used market. Due to limited production numbers, especially in stainless steel chambered for .41 Magnum, these revolvers are highly sought-after by both collectors and serious shooters. Its excellent mechanical condition, coupled with its originality and outstanding cosmetic appearance, significantly enhances its collectible appeal. If you’re looking for a versatile, accurate, and collectible revolver capable of handling potent cartridges with ease, this Dan Wesson Monson Model 41 is a rare find and an exceptional investment piece.
