Markings: Right side of the receiver directly behind the ejection port is marked “Cx4 Storm” and directly above handguard is marked “WARNING: RETRACT SLIDE TO SEE IF LOADED FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE READ MANUAL BEFORE USE BERETTA” with Beretta’s logo at the front end. Left side of the chrome lined barrel is marked “9X19 CX55714 PB” and the Left side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA P. BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK MD. PAT. PEND.” The left side of the receiver directly behind the ejection port is marked “Cx4 Storm”. The foregrip is marked “BCM”. The Stock is marked “MAGPUL”. The Red dot is marked “Aimpoint Micro T-1 2 MOA #W3141609”.

Sights / Optics: The top of the carbine has a 12” picatinny rail for the mounting of optics and accessories. Currently mounted is a set of MAGPUL MBUS flip up polymer back up iron sights. Also mounted via a QD riser is an Aimpoint T1 with a 2 MOA red dot. The red dot functions correctly and is in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this carbine includes a checkered integrated forend, smooth pistol grip and an AR15 buffer tube connected to the rear of the carbine. The buffer tube is currently mounting a MAGPUL CTR stock with qd cups, sling attachment points and a rubber buttpad. The forend is carrying a BCM VFG. The Length of pull at full extension is 16” from the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The furniture set on this carbine is in Excellent condition showing virtually no visible wear. This carbine also has an inforce weaponlight mounted to it. The weaponlight functions correctly and is in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This carbine includes 3 x 20 round Beretta magazines, and 5x 30 round Beretta magazines all in Excellent condition. 8 magazines total.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some minor carbon fouling on the end of the muzzle. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This carbine retains 99% of its finish. The exterior of the carbine shows only very minor handling wear and almost no signs of use. The markings are clear and the screw heads are all sharp. Overall this carbine is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. All of the controls are currently set up for a left handed person. This can be reversed to right handed. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm is a modern pistol-caliber carbine designed for home defense, tactical applications, and recreational shooting.
