Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “WESSON FIREARMS / PALMER MASS. U.S.A. / SD10021” The right side of the barrel is marked “.44 MAGNUM CTG”.
Barrel Length: Interchangeable 2.75” Shrouded with Full Length Top Rib
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped style blade with red insert pinned to the top rib. The rear sight is a flat top square notched leaf pinned to the frame adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the barrel and frame has a matte finish.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is oversized smooth wood with Finger Grooves.There are light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grip is in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a light turn-line that is not yet through the finish. There are a couple minor scratches and faint scuffs. The screw head is undamaged. The hammer checkering is sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly both double and single action with faint play in the cylinder lockup. We did not fire this revolver. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Dan the younger formed Dan Wesson Arms and became famous with his high quality revolvers and their interchangeable barrels. This is one beefy hand cannon. This revolver is equipped with an 2.75” interchangeable shrouded barrel. Additional barrels in 4”, 6” or 10” may be available on the used market. Due to limited production numbers these revolvers are highly sought-after by both collectors and serious shooters. Its excellent mechanical condition, coupled with its originality and outstanding cosmetic appearance, significantly enhances its collectible appeal.
