Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “SELF LOADING POLICE”. The left side of the barrel is marked “FN 12 GA.-2 ¾, 3” INVECTOR PLUS SLP COMPETITION/ FN HERSTAL BELGIUM-FNH USA FREDERICKSBURG, VA-ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL BY BROWNING VIANA”. The right side of the receiver is marked “3” MAGNUM”. The magazine tube is marked on both sides with “FNH USA”.
Barrel Length: 24” .
Choke: The barrel is threaded for Invector Plus chokes tubes currently installed with an extended BLUE banded Improved cylinder choke tube.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange fiber optic front sight dovetailed to the rib. The rear sight is a flip up V notch sight with a white aiming reference dovetailed to the barrel. The top of the receiver has been drilled, tapped and plugged for the mounting of a picatinny rail for the mounting of optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two piece checkered synthetic with capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, rubber ventilated recoil pad, 2 sling studs, and checkered finger shelf forend. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. The stock shows essentially no wear or marrs. The forend shows some discoloration from storage. Overall the furniture set rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The smoothbore is mirror bright with no visible erosion. There are some very fine lines in the bore and a small burr on the barrel extension that will not affect function. The shotgun has been fired but the bolt, action and chamber are all very clean. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some wear on the ejection port lip of the receiver, the only other wear is on the inside of the receiver from the lifter. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes the original foam padded case, cable lock with keys, owner’s manual and paperwork, sling swivels, choke wrench, and extra plugs for the receiver.
