Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “WARNING REFER TO OWNER’S MANUAL Heckler & Koch Inc. / Columbus, GA”, “HK SL8-1 / Cal. .223 Rem. / Heckler & Koch GmbH / Made in Germany” and “S” and “F” around the safety selector. Marked “48-024605” above the thumbhole pistol grip. The right and left side side of the buttstock are marked “HK”.  The slide is marked “48-04605 HK DE” with an “HK / P” in a shield.  The left side of the barrel is marked “HK DE / 48-024605 Cal. .223 Rem.” with a date code “CB 2E”.

Barrel Length: 20”  Colt-Hammer Forged Bull barrel with recessed crown made of HK’s famous Cannon grade steel.

Sights / Optics:  There are no sights on this rifle, however there is an uninterrupted picatinny atop the carry handle for all your favorite sights and optics.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is black polymer with a thumbhole buttstock and a synthetic cheek rest and rubber buttpad. The charging handle is ambidextrous and flips to either the left or right side for operation. This rifle features Match Grade Trigger and adjustable LOP with optional inserts (not included).   The LOP measures 13.25″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There are no signs of handling wear.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no wear from previous responsible use and storage. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred.  The markings are clear.  Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. This rifle is pristine and appears unfired.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a total of 2 HK magazines, HK allen wrench set, HK Decal, and SL8-1 SL8-6 .223 (5.56) Operator’s Manual all packaged neatly in a cardboard factory accessories box.  This rifle and its accessories come in a Green Rifle Soft Case.
