Markings: The gas regulator sleeve is marked 0-10. The left side of the receiver is marked with “S” and “E” for safe/engage. The left side of the receiver is also marked “Fz SA 7,62 C-3A” and “41513”. The right side of the upper is marked “IMBEL FABRICA DE ITAJUBK – BRASIL ENTERPRISE ARMS, INC IRWINDALE, CA”. The right side of the magazine well is marked “IB927”. Rear sight is marked “2-6”. There is an Israeli proof mark on the charging handle.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post. The rear sight is a sliding aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The fixed buttstock, pistol grip, and attached carry handle cover are all synthetic. The integrated bipod swings out and in smoothly. There are loose storage marks and light scratches throughout the synthetic surfaces. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. The stock rates in about Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi- bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows wear around the handguards where the bipod collapses. There is a full coverage of light scratches on the top cover. There are some light scratches on the receiver and handguard. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Take it upon yourself to add a FAL-based gun to your collection and tame it. Whether you’re looking for parts to finish a gun you’re already working on or wanting a gun ready to shoot right out of the box, these models have a reputation for functionality and accuracy. Thanks to its import history and the different hands it’s passed through, this rifle might give you some headaches, but the payoff as a fun range gun full of history makes this Imbel rifle a must have!
