Our Assessment: Produced in 1982, this is a beautifully engraved Colt Single Action Army chambered for Winchester’s popular .44-40 cartridge. While typically designated the “Frontier Six-Shooter” in this chambering, this example is marked “SINGLE ACTION ARMY” on the barrel, instead. Rather than the typical scroll, this revolver’s factory engraving also incorporates a crosshatch pattern, giving it even more of an old-west appearance. The revolver is in Excellent condition and presents well. This is a great firearm to add to any collection in America. Please see our photos and good luck!
