Our Assessment: The Browning Model 53 is a lever-action rifle that was produced by the Browning Arms Company from 1990 to 2002. It is a modern iteration of the Winchester Model 53, a classic lever-action rifle that was originally produced from 1924 to 1932. The Model 53 was chambered for the .32-20 Winchester and .25-20 Winchester cartridges. Both calibers are relatively low in recoil, making the rifle suitable for small to medium game hunting. As a tribute to the original Winchester Model 53, it holds historical significance in the realm of lever-action rifles. It reflects the enduring popularity of lever-action firearms among shooters and collectors. This example is in Excellent condition, appearing to have seen quite limited, if any use. This discontinued model is sure to make a welcome addition to any Browning or Winchester rifle collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
