Markings: The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas. The left side has the S&W trademark logo. The barrel is marked, “SMITH & WESSON / 32 MAGNUM” The inside of the crane cut is marked, “MOD 16-4” with the serial number. The crane arm is marked, “218” The bottom of the grip frame has the serial number.
Barrel Length: 6” Full Lug
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned blade set atop a raised serrated rib. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched and white outlined leaf in a base that is micrometer click adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: There is a two piece rosewood finger groove combat grips with an ejector cut and S&W medallions at the top. There are some small nicks throughout. The backstrap is serrated. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a crisp turn line. There are faint marks throughout. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up with light play on each chamber when the trigger is depressed. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. This revolver sports a wide hammer and trigger.
