Barrel Length: IC over IC: 28”.  Skeet over Modified: 30”

Sights / Optics: The front sights are faux-ivory beads fixed to the rib. The ribs have checkering for glare reduction and midbeads.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is a two-piece gorgeous Bird’s Eye Maple set. The 30” barrel set has a Curly maple forend. The stock has a capped semi-pistol grip, monte-carlo comb, and Decelerator buttpad. There are light compressions and scratches throughout the stock but no chips. The butt pad is still pliable. The length of pull is 14 5/8”. The checkering is crisp with lightly worn peaks. There are dark “split” lines at the buttpad that are part of the wood grain. There is a repair on the left side of the grip in the corner of the receiver and upper tang. The Bird’s Eye forend has a 1.75” crack on the left side.  Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition as C&R.

Type of Finish: Blue

Finish Originality: Original.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are exceptionally bright.  There is no erosion in any of the barrel.  There are a few faint scratches, but nothing significant.  In this writer’s opinion the bores all rate 9.5/10.

Overall Condition:  This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some scattered small nicks in the finish of the barrels. There is some finish loss on the bottom barrel where the handguard rubs, also where the safety rubs on the tang. Overall, this shotgun is in about Excellent condition for C&R considering its age.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly.  The bottom extractor of the 28” barrel set is broken at the elbow. The broken part of the extractor is still included with this shotgun. The shotgun features a single selective trigger. The safety does NOT set automatically when the action is opened but functions properly when manually set. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a Browning “suitcase” with the two barrel sets, a Factory Letter, and its extractor piece.
