Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The barrels have some scattered light marks and scuffs forward of the forend, with light wear under the forend from assembly/disassembly, concealed when assembled. There is some faint surface oxidation on the trigger guard. The action shows operational wear. The receiver has some minor wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play. The safety does not return to safe when the action is opened but functions properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a Plano aluminum case.
Our Assessment: The iconic Model 101 Pigeon Grade is a shotgun with legendary styling and handling and the unquestionable reliability you expect from Winchester firearms. This one has 30? barrels choked Full over Improved Modified, a wide rib with a white front bead and mid-bead. Lets be honest, the most important thing is that it looks good, too! This shotgun shows wear consistent with some use on the Trap fields, but still locks up tight and looks like it was well maintained. If you’re looking for your first over under shotgun or your last, you’ll want to get your bid in on this one. Please see our photos and good luck!
