Markings: The barrel is marked, “AMERICAN WESTERN ARMS / PEACEKEEPER .45 COLT / AWA ITALY” The left side of the frame has patent dates. The bottom of the frame, grip frame, and trigger guard have the serial number.
Barrel Length: 4 3/4”
Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a semi-circle blade fixed at the muzzle. The rear sight is a V-notch integral to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip panels are two-piece checkered polymer with a running horse and an american eagle depicted on it. There are very faint handling marks most likely from the factory. Overall, the grip panels are in Excellent to Fine condition.
Type of Finish: Blued, Case Color
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates at a 10/10.
Overall Condition: The revolver retains about 99.9% of its metal finish. There are faint handling marks on the grip frame. The case color is bright and unworn. The screwheads are sharp and serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, the revolver is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: This revolver comes with its original hard case, paperwork, test fire casing, and cloth bag.
