Markings: The left chamber is marked “Fausti-ITALY”. The bottom of the right barrel is marked “FAUSTI USA, INC. / FREDERICKSBURG,VA – MADE IN ITALY” and with a proof and specifications; the lower flat is marked with two proof marks, “FS” in an oval, “B62887”, and “20” in a box. The bottom of the left barrel is marked “20 GA 3” / READ OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE USING” and with a proof mark and specification. The top of the forearm metal is marked “B62887”. The right water table has two proof marks and the left is marked “B62887” and “FS” in an oval. The trigger guard is marked “C / L / M” with gold fill. There is elaborate floral scroll scroll engraving throughout the receiver. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY – 2020” left of the trigger and “F. SANZOGNI” to the right.
Barrel Length: 28” Solid Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for interchangeable chokes and currently installed are Modified and Improved Cylinder. An additional Modified choke is included as well as Skeet, Full, and Improved Modified.
Weight: 6 lbs. 8.1 oz.
Sights / Optics: There is a steel bead at the front of the checkered rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece AAA checkered walnut with a splintered forearm, round-bottom pistol grip, straight comb, and a plain black buttpad. There are a few faint draglines on the left side of the buttstock and one at the front of the forearm. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock is in Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows just a couple of faint marks on the barrel set. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety does NOT engage automatically when the action is opened, The barrels lock up tightly with no play to the receiver. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The previously mentioned choke set is included.

On display here is a Model DEA with a beautifully engraved coin receiver and a 28” barrel set. The gun is in about Fine-Excellent overall condition with 98% of its original finish remaining.
