Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH · MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The upper tang is marked “02355MN171”. The right side of the barrel is marked “BT-99 SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS 2 3/4” PAT. 5933997”. The left side of the barrel lug is marked “34” and “INVECTOR / PLUS”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “02355” and with three Japanese proofs. The inside of the forend iron is marked “02355”. The receiver has Grade III engraving. The engraving motif continues onto the forend iron and lever.

Barrel Length: 34” Vent-Rib

Choke: Threaded for Invector Plus chokes with Modified installed, no additional chokes are included.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is white bead at the muzzle with a white mid bead.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered wood with a beavertail forend, pistol grip, adjustable Monte Carlo comb, and a Browning ventilated rubber buttpad. There is a minor ding on the front of the grip and one on the right side of the buttstock near the belly. Otherwise, only minor handling wear is present. The checkering is crisp. The LOP measures 14 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. There are no chips or cracks. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only light handling and storage marks. The receiver is Grade III engraved with floral scrolls. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
