Our Assessment: This pistol was produced for Lew Horton in 2011 as a tribute to a century of one of John Browning’s most influential designs and one of Colt’s most popular products. This beautiful pistol has been engraved with gold embellishments to celebrate the Model of 1911, also known as the Government Model. With its deep blue and gold finish set off by its laser-etched white grips, this is a wonderful tribute to one of the best pistols ever made, and appears to have spent more time in its included original case than out. This will make a fine addition to any collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
