Our Assessment: This Iver Johnson M1 Carbine was made between 1980 & 1983. Iver Johnson made several variations of the M1 Carbine while it was in business between 1978 and 1992. This variation uses all Iver Johnsom parts (earlier variations used some USGI parts). This is a good looking M1 Carbine that should be fun to shoot. Good luck.
