Markings: The top of the gas tube is marked “DRUCKLUFT/AIR 200 BAR / D-FEINWERKBAU / TARA 0.327KG IV/03 / NETTO 0.048KG”. The left side of the receiver is marked “LG MOD. P70 / FIELD TARGET / CAL. 4,5/.177”, “20,4 J” and the serial number “500212”. The name “FEINWERKBAU” is on both sides of the forend. The right side of the receiver is marked “FEINWERKBAU / OBERNDORF/N / MADE IN GERMANY”. The top of the receiver is marked “IMPORTED BY BEEMAN”.

Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver and barrel are grooved and have two 1” rings ready to accommodate a scope (not included).

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are alloy and wood laminate featuring forward underside accessory rails, pistol grip, adjustable cheek riser and adjustable shoulder stock. There is no notable wear or damage, just light handling marks. The current LOP measures 12 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the shoulder stock. The stocks are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some light scuffing and scratches on the gas tube and muzzle shroud. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly as far as we were able to observe. The precharged pneumatic tube is completely spent. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This air rifle comes with a Kolpin branded soft rifle case, instruction manual, pressure valve, two (2) tins of pellet ammunition and some tools.

Our Assessment: This is a beautiful target rifle from a company that often makes precision air rifles for high level competition up to and including the Olympics.  This particular design was a favorite for many when it was released but has since been discontinued. One thing we enjoyed was the video on Youtube of a reviewer shooting a cherry tomato, a zinc lozenge and a vitamin D pill at 40 meters. For the precision shooter in you, don’t let this air rifle get away!
