Markings: The left side of the dust cover is marked “20*11”. The bottom of the dust cover is marked “STACCATO / GEORGETOWN, TX USA”. The right side of the chamber is marked “9 X 19”. The right side of the frame is marked with an American flag, serial number, and “STACCATO*P”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Dawson Precision Perfect Impact blade with a serrated rear face and a green fiber-optic insert, it is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch sight with a serrated rear face and a vertical front face for slide racking. It is dovetailed into a Dawson optic plate that is screwed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The trigger guard and grip frame are one piece, made of high-strength synthetic material, in black, showing a stippled pattern. There are a few light handling marks with no major defects. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some little spots of finish loss and marks on the magazine well. There are some scattered light handling marks. There is light operational wear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has ambidextrous thumb safeties, an adjustable trigger, crisp trigger, short reset, strong mainspring, skeletonized hammer & trigger, the grip safety has a rise to index one’s palm correctly each time. The slide and frame have superb mating and are very smooth. The action works correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. The design is one of the most beloved and has gone through many design changes such as modular frames like this STI Staccato-P. The Staccato-P was introduced in 2018 in 9mm and features Dawson Precision sights, an optic cut for interchangeable plates, a 2011 double stack modular grip, 4.5” bull barrel, railed frame, Dawson tooless recoil system, skeletonized hammer & trigger, ambidextrous safeties, an indexing bump beavertail safety, and forward & rear slide serrations. This one has been kept in beautiful condition by a previous owner and does not look like it has seen mush use at all and comes with a soft case. This would make a great shooter, concealed carry gun, or just a simple plinker for those who only want the best, so considering dropping a bid on this Staccato! Please see our photos and good luck!
