Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with Ruger’s two-line warning address and the right side of the barrel is marked “.44 MAGNUM CAL.”. The right side of the frame is marked “RUGER Redhawk” and with the Ruger eagle logo. The bottom of the grip frame is marked with the serial number. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “S”.
Barrel Length: The barrel is 7 1/2” in length with a full-length serrated rib and a quarter-length underlug.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with an orange plastic insert dovetailed to the front of the rib. The rear sight is a white outlined square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base pinned to the topstrap. The barrel’s rib is cut for the included Ruger rings. The top of the rib is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood panels with Ruger medallions at their tops. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The action shows minor operational wear including a faint turn-line on the cylinder. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw head is sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double-action trigger pull is smooth and the single-action trigger pull is crisp. The cylinder lockup is good on all six chambers with barely perceptible movement. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a gray plastic Ruger case with serial-matching label, manual, lock and a pair of Ruger rings.
Our Assessment: This is a stainless-steel Ruger Redhawk with a 7 ½” barrel and an adjustable rear sight. The barrel is also cut for the included Ruger rings, so this revolver can easily be set up with the scope of your choice for hunting or target shooting. The action on this good-looking revolver is solid and the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The revolver is in Excellent condition with about 98% of its finish remaining. While a little large for concealed carry, this revolver will be great for whatever other purpose you may have for a .44 Magnum. Please see our photos and good luck!
