Our Assessment: On display we have a beautiful Sako L691 that was manufactured sometime between 1992 & 1995. This rifle sports a gorgeous skip-line checkered stock with rosewood caps and a right hand palm swell. The L691 was the model just previous to the M75. It is more similar to the original L61R in that it has a traditional two-lug 90-degree bolt as opposed to the three-lug 60-degree bolt of the M75. This rifle is immaculate with a feather light trigger and a shiny bore. It is not apparent that this rifle ever saw any real use in the field. Please see our photos and good luck!
