Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “S.&W. 357 MAGNUM”. The right side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The left of the frame is marked with an S&W monogram logo, the right has the four-line Marcas Registradas address. The crane cut is marked with the serial and model numbers. The butt is marked with the serial number and the sides of the grip frame have inspection marks. The yoke has inspection marks. The frame, sideplate, barrel, and cylinder have factory scroll engraving.
Barrel Length: 2 1/8″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to the rib. The rear sight is a square notch at the end of a groove in the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood with scroll accents, smooth borders, and finger grooves. There are a few light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There is a small gap along the front strap. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the Electro Chemically Machined rifling is strong. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some scuffs on the underlug that have caused smooth spots. There are some light handling marks. There is a turn-line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup on all chambers has very little side-to-side play. The trigger is smooth. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching box, paperwork including the manual, test fired brass, and wood S&W presentation case with blue lining.
Our Assessment: This is a great concealed carry revolver, capable of firing five rounds of .357 Magnum. With its internal hammer and sleek lines, this makes a fantastic carry piece as there is little to snag or interfere with the operation and the internals are even more protected from dust and debris. The trend for compact revolvers has been toward lightweight frames, but if you’ve ever fired one you may find the mass of stainless steel a little more comfortable for use. While this revolver would be great for carry, it would be an even better addition to a Smith & Wesson collection. The revolver features factory scroll engraving and comes with its original accessories that include a blue carry case as well as an S&W presentation case. This one has little wear and is in Fine Plus condition, a nice addition to just about any collection. Please see our pictures and good luck!
