Barrel Length: The S2 barrel set measures 28”. The S1 barrel set measures 30” 
Choke: The S1 barrel set is choked Full-Full .390” / The S2 barrels are both choked improved Cylinder .405”
Sights / Optics: These barrel sets are mounted with horn front sight beads and a small white mid-rib bead. 
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are Checkered High Grade American Walnut with a pistol grip. There are compression marks and handling marks throughout the S2 forend. There is a small patch of deeper compression marks on the left side of the forend just to the rear of the checkering. The S1 forend shows standard handling and compression marks from age and use. There is an Iver Johnson pistol grip cap which has a couple of compression marks at the apex of the oval. There is a small chip off of the left side of the belly of the stock at the receiver. There are many compression marks and handling marks on the butt stock. The deepest compressions of the butt stock are near the receiver on the left side. The LOP measures 13 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the back of the deteriorating recoil pad. The drop at comb measures 1 ¾”. The drop at heel measures 2 ½”. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition. 
Type of Finish: Blue 
Finish Originality: All Original 
Bore Condition: The bore is Bright. There is No erosion. There are two small dents which can be seen in the bore of the S2 / 28” barrel set. One is 1.5” from the muzzle and the other is 8” from the muzzle. 
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows thinning on the underside of the receiver. There is also thinning on the sides of the barrel, hard edges of the receiver, trigger guard, bottom tang, and exposed forend hardware. The S1 barrel set shows much less thinning. The forend hardware shows faint frosting. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition. 
Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. 
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The two barrel sets described are provided. 
Our Assessment: What a fun .410 Side by Side this would be. Everyone loves shooting .410s. They are perfect for younger shooters because of the manageable recoil. We are sure it was a blast skeet shooting with this little beauty. The bluebook states that this model was probably responsible for more Skeet records than any other American .410 bore SXS shotgun. This one comes with two matching serial number barrel sets. This particular model has the coveted Miller trigger which adds to the collectable value of this little side by side. You can even buy this on your C&R!
