Markings: The underside of the barrel is marked “6.5 GRENDEL”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “581-39421”, a two-line warning, the company’s phoenix logo, “®”, “STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The top of the receiver is marked “RUGER® / RANCH RIFLE”. Please note, the traditional caliber marking is covered by a brass plate. The grip cap is marked with the company’s phoenix logo.
Barrel Length: 21 1/2” Heavy Barrel with Muzzle Brake
Sights/Optics: There is no front sight. The rear sight is an adjustable ghost ring with protective ears that is fixed to the rear of the receiver. The receiver rib is notched for Ruger rings (not included).
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a checkered black synthetic with custom aftermarket vented handguard, pistol grip, straight comb, and a serrated black rubber buttpad. There is a sling swivel on the buttstock and a sling stud on the gas block. With the exception of a few minor handling marks, the stock is free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The buttpad is free of any notable wear or damage. Overall, the stock rates in Fine-to-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion, but some very minor stubborn fouling persists near the muzzle.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The barrel has a few very minor nicks most notable along the top and there are a few light bits of residue on the underside. The receiver has a bit more use-wear evident, mostly in the form of build-up and a few minor scuffs. Pins and screws are undamaged. All markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
