Our Assessment: The Redhawk was Ruger’s first large bore double-action revolver and was available in several barrel lengths and chambered for an assortment of powerful cartridges such as .357 and like this one, .44 Magnum. Like the Security-Six before it, the Redhawk was designed by Harry Sefried as a part of their “6” line of guns (Security, Service, Speed, etc.) The Redhawk is a wrist-breaker, truly a beastly thrill to shoot, but as a tool, it’s best utilized when on the hunt should you run into a predator yourself. This is your chance to bring home a beautiful consecutive pair. You can dual-wield them on your next hunt if you’re feeling brazen.  Good luck and happy bidding!
