The metal shows scrapes, small scratches, and areas of discoloration from oxidation. The barrel and trigger group show areas of light thinning under the wood. The front of the barrel shows a ring of heavy surface erosion. The right side of the receiver shows light thinning consistent with cycling. Some of the markings on the barrel & receiver are faded. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition as refinished.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: There is No magazine. The rifle comes with a green canvas sling that is in about Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This Winchester M1 Carbine was made back in 1945. It has since been rebuilt and refinished. The rifle has seen some use but uses almost all Winchester parts. The barrel band is a replacement and not a Winchester part. This M1 Carbine should be lots of fun at the range. Good luck.
