Our Assessment: The Mauser Model HSc pistols were made by the Germans during WWII and later by the French when they took over their factory and tooling. It was originally intended as Mauser’s response to the Walther PPK, and the HSc competed with the Walther and Sauer 38H pistols for police and military use. This is a late Kriegsmarine Variation Nazi marked model with a blued finish, smooth sighting plane, checkered plastic grips, and no lanyard ring. This one has matching parts numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame. It has plastic grips which were used on this variant and has the small Kriegsmarine marking on the trigger guard instead of the larger mark on the frontstrap, both likely used to cut cost and time as the War raged on. This late model should appeal to just about anyone who has an interest in WWII weapons, Nazi weapons especially. Please see our photos and good luck!
