Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “Kimber”. The right side of the slide is marked “PRO CARRY HD II”. The right side of the frame is marked “KIMBER MFG / KRF29589” and “YONKERS NY USA”. The top of the chamber is marked “.38 SUPER”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a red fiber-optic insert and is dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a serrated lo-mount style square notch with two tritium inserts and is dovetailed to the rear of the slide and further secured with a set screw.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are double-diamond checkered black rubber panels. There are a couple of light marks on the smooth diamonds. The checkering is intact and strong. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The rifling is sharp and the bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some light operational wear on the barrel. There are light handling marks, no major defects. The markings are clear. The screw heads are undamaged. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit shows barely perceptible play. The trigger is crisp. We have not test-fired his gun. As with all used firearms a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box & Accessories: This pistol comes with a single 9-round Kimber magazine, paperwork including the manual, and a serial matching hard case.
Our Assessment: For 40 years, Kimber has been producing some of the finest 1911-style pistols in America and this is no exception. This particular pistol comes packed with features such as angled rear slide serrations, extended beavertail grip safety, full-length stainless guide-rod, skeletonized hammer and trigger, checkered steaight mainspring housing, and of course, Kimber quality. This example is in Fine Plus condition showing signs of light use and comes with two magazines. This is a beautiful gun in high condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection, but where it will really shine is in your holster for carry. Please see our photos and good luck!
