Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with a canvas sling. The sling shows a few areas of soiling on the canvas as well as scrapes on the metal. It is in about Very Good Plus to Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This Standard Products M1 Carbine was built back in 1943. After WWII it was Arsenal Rebuilt at the Rock Island Arsenal. It was rebuilt using a mix of USGI parts. Luckily the rifle still has lots of its original Standard Products parts. The rifle has been refinished since the Arsenal Rebuild and the stock has since been refurbished. This is a good looking M1 Carbine to add to your collection.
