Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with “STURM, RUGER & CO. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The right side of the barrel is marked with  the serial number “102-07608”, “RUGER CARBINE / .44 MAGNUM CAL.”, a phoenix logo, and “®”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded brass blade in a banded base that is dovetailed into a base that is integral to the barrel. The rear sight is a flip-up u-notch with a white triangle aiming reference.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a replacement one-piece smooth wood with semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and black metal buttplate. The stock has a few light nicks most notable on the left side of buttstock and over the grip. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate has light scuff wear at the heel and toe along with minor thinning on the edges. Overall, the stock rates in Fine condition, as not original.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 94% of its metal finish. The barrel has a few light nicks along the top. There is minor thinning on the edges of the receiver. There is minor thinning on the ejection port. The action has light operational wear. The screws show minor toolmarks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
