Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”. The right side of the slide is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL”. The barrel is marked “CAL. 9mm LUGER”. The front strap is marked “245NV71013”. The right bow of the trigger guard is marked with a Belgian proof. The right side of the barrel lug is marked with a “* / T” inspection mark and a Belgian proof mark. The bottom flat of the firing pin housing has a Belgian proof, “* / Y” inspection mark, and “5” in a hexagon.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tall serrated rear sloping blade that is dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a serrated square notch that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The rear sight is dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood panels. The grips show only faint handling wear and the checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some very faint fouling in the grooves.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. The left side of the slide has some freckles into the finish and a few fine scratches. There are some light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. There is hardly any notable play between the slide and frame. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original grey Browning hard case with a 10-round magazine, a 13-round magazine, and a manual. please note, no high capacity magazines will be included where prohibited by law.
Our Assessment: This is a Browning Hi-Power manufactured in Belgium and assembled in Portugal in 1995. Hi-Power pistols have a reputation for being high quality and are highly sought after for their collectability and practical defense use as well. This is a beautiful pistol with about 97% of its original finish in about Fine-Excellent condition. The bore is bright and the trigger is light and crisp. Please see our photos and good luck!
