Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER”. The grips are marked Sig Sauer. The right side of the slide is marked “P220 Elite”. The barrel is marked “45 Auto / SIG”. The right side of the frame is marked “SIG SAUER INC. / EXETER-NH-USA” and features the serial number “37B011024”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed blade with tritium dot and is marked “MH3 AN”. The rear sight is a dovetailed square notch with two tritium dots that is marked “MHP / AN”. Both front and rear sights are siglite tritium night sights. All the lamps are dim.

Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grip is one-piece Rosewood ergonomic beavertail style.  There are only minor handling and storage marks on the grip. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the grips are in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 99% of its finish. There are some minor handling and storage marks. Notably there is a scratch on the left side of the frame from the decocker. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. There is a picatinny rail integrated onto the frame. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, it may need a thorough cleaning to meet your maintenance standards.

Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with its box that features the corresponding serial number. The foam inserts are still intact and have only limited wear. Overall the case is in Excellent condition. There is a Regal R15LC1 lock included, still in its wrapper. Finally the pistol comes with its 8 round magazine. It is numbered 2-8 on each side and has 8 viewing holes and two slots on each side as well. The left side is marked “SIG SAUER / P220-1 / .45” and the right “MADE IN ITALY”. The magazine is in Excellent condition.

Our Assessment:  This SIG Sauer Model P220 Elite Stainless is a .45 Auto Semi-Automatic pistol with detachable magazine. This version of the P220 was introduced in 2007 and remains a beautifully crafted version of the highly coveted pistol. The Stainless Steel finish is very durable and the grips are finely crafted. This pistol is more than just a mantlepiece, it is as effective at the range as any other P220 and should serve its next owner well indeed. Goodluck on your bid!
