Our Assessment: The .357 Magnum was the king of handgun cartridges for decades and Smith & Wesson made some of the best. This example comes to us from 1979-1980 with its finely checkered topstrap and rib, pinned barrel, and recessed chambers. They literally do not make them like this anymore. This revolver has a blued finish, 8 3/8″ barrel, and nice checkered target stocks. It is in about Fine Plus condition with about 97% of its original blue finish and a fantastic bore. The gun is in excellent mechanical shape, it has a nice lockup and nice trigger pulls, this will be a great addition to a Smith collection and certainly be a nice shooter for fun at the range. Please see our photos and good luck!
